How it works
How to clone your voice
Voice cloning happens inside your account, in the Create your voice flow. These are the steps as they exist today.

Add voice samples
Upload clean recordings of the voice: MP3, WAV or M4A, from 5 seconds to 5 minutes each, up to 25 MB per file, a maximum of 5 samples and at least 20 seconds of audio in total.
- 02
Confirm authorisation
You confirm that the voice is yours, or that you hold the permission needed to create and use it. Without that confirmation the voice is not created.
- 03
Name and create
Give the voice a name and an optional description, then start the creation. Progress is kept in My Voices, so you can leave the page.
- 04
Use it when it is ready
A voice is only selectable once it reaches the ready state. If a creation fails, no minutes are used and you can try again with the same samples.
Authorisation
Only voices you are allowed to use
MirrorVox creates a voice only after you confirm that you own it or hold the permission needed to create and use it. This confirmation is a product safeguard, not a legal or identity verification.
- The authorisation step cannot be skipped.
- Your samples stay private to your account.
- A cloned voice can only be used by the account that created it.
- Do not upload a voice you are not authorised to use.

It is the flow that turns your own audio samples into a personal voice inside your account. Once that voice is ready, you can select it to change the spoken voice of a finished video.

Personal voices depend on the plan: the Free plan does not include one, Starter and Creator include one personal voice, and Pro includes three.
